Build PAC

A key reason for the HBA’s strength is its aggressive political affairs program. The HBA is associated with four local political action committees; one PAC representing the entire metro and another PAC affiliated with local area councils. This allows members to get involved at the grassroots level by supporting candidates representing the areas where they live and work.

The HBA is also one of the strongest supporters in the nation for BUILD-PAC, the political action committee for NAHB. The HBA has twice in recent years ranked as the largest fundraiser in the nation for BUILD-PAC. Contributions to the national group are shared with local candidates, allowing HBA members the opportunity to support candidates at home and nationwide who understand the importance of housing.
