Bringing green building and business management together, the Certified Green Professional designation is the latest professional recognition program offered by the National Association of Home Builders' University of Housing.
 The Certified Green Professional designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction. Coursework leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods, tools to reach consumers and the best management practices in the home-building business.
