KCHBA Board Approves 2015 Kansas and Missouri Legislative Agendas
The KCHBA’s Government Affairs Committee met this month to draft the 2015 Kansas and Missouri Legislative Agendas. Committee Co-chairs Harold Phelps, Phelps Engineering, Inc., and Brenner Holland, Hunt Midwest Real Estate Development, Inc., and Committee members reviewed the HBA’s past legislative priorities and discussed issues we expect will be debated during the next legislative sessions in Kansas and Missouri. The Committee also discussed issues that HBA members face day-to-day in their businesses and the pro-active steps the KCHBA can take to help alleviate bureaucracy and find savings through changes in state policy. The KCHBA Board approved the Legislative Agendas at its December Board meeting.
