KCHBA Comments on the City of Overland Park’s 2015 Design and Construction Standards Update
The KCHBA submitted comments to the City of Overland Park regarding the City’s proposed 2015 Design and Construction Standards update. City staff has done excellent work to improve the standards and share its proposed changes through public meetings and opportunities to comment. KCHBA members, however, are concerned that the new requirements governing private drive and parking lot construction in residential areas are unnecessary and would increase the cost of construction.
