HOME SHOW – Fall Edition Brings Home Improvement Resources to Kansas City Consumers
With fall well under way, many Kansas City homeowners are taking advantage of the perfect time of year to work on home remodeling projects before the holiday season sets in. Whether it’s completing an old project, choosing a contractor for a new one or learning do-it-yourself tips to enhance the home, local homeowners will find their home improvement needs at the HOME SHOW – Fall Edition.
The HOME SHOW – Fall Edition returns to Bartle Hall Oct. 19-21, featuring more than 300 companies and thousands of new products and services on display. Highlights include the National Association of the Remodeling Industry Kansas City Chapter’s “NARI Neighborhood … A Remodeling Showcase.” Inside the NARI Neighborhood, visitors will find professionals with tips ranging from choosing a contractor to selecting products for home renovation.
Consumers can also join remodeling expert Steven Katkowsky for seminars that will help homeowners navigate their way through remodeling projects while saving time and money. For homeowners who prefer to handle their remodeling needs on their own, the Remodeling Stage features hands-on, do-it-yourself seminars on topics such as tile work and faux painting.
This Innovative Products Pavilion features the latest gadgets and inventions for the home, and is the perfect chance for homeowners to discover the next generation of home improvement ideas. For organizational ideas and the biggest prize the show has to offer, consumers can check out the Ultimate Garage Giveaway. Visitors can enter for their chance to win nearly $10,000 in prizes towards a complete garage makeover. Prizes include organizational tools, dumpster service, and a complete supply of new tools from Superior-Garage, 1-800-GOT-JUNK, the Home Depot and the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City.
An event the whole family can enjoy, the HOME SHOW – Fall Edition includes activities for kids of all ages. This year’s show features an exotic bird display from Wings of Love, free woodworking projects at the Home Depot Kid’s Workshops, a paint-a-pumpkin craft area to help bring in the fall season and enjoy storytelling and other performances from the Mid-Continent Public Library. Guests can also visit Wayside Waifs, Forever Friends and Greyhound pets to find a new cat or retired greyhound up for adoption.
Produced by the Home Builders Association, the HOME SHOW – Fall Edition is Kansas City’s exclusive fall home improvement event. The show is open at Bartle Hall from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.
