Builders Unveil Marketing Award Winners
The best in residential
construction marketing, advertising
and public relations
were honored Wednesday, April 21 with
the presentation of the 14th annual Metropolitan
Awards for Marketing Excellence (MAME).
The awards were presented during the
Home Builders Association of Greater
Kansas City (HBA) Spring Awards Ceremony
at the Downtown Marriott Hotel Muehlebach
Tower. More than 650 industry professionals
attended this year’s ceremony which
also honored winners of the American
Dream Awards held in conjunction with
the 2004 Spring Homes Tour.
A total of 84 MAME Awards recognizing
marketing excellence were presented in
categories for new-home communities,
single-family and multi-family home builders
and associated companies including real
estate firms, subcontractors, suppliers
and other new-home product and service
providers. Awards also recognized outstanding
new-home sales agents.
Gus Carey of Masters Realty took top
honors for Best New Home On-Site Agent
while Wendi Oberg of Coldwell Banker
Advantage earned the award for Best Rookie
New Home On-Site Agent. Top honors also
went to: Peterson Development Company
for Best Overall Developer Marketing
Campaign; J.S. Robinson Fine Homes for
Best Overall Single-Family Home Builder
Marketing Campaign; Kevin Green Homes
for Best Overall Multi-Family Home Builder
Marketing Campaign; and Builder Consulting
for Best Overall Associate Marketing
Campaign.

Midwest Real Estate Development for Best
Overall Marketing Campaign for Communities
Under $200,000; Woodneath Farms also
marketed by Hunt Midwest Real Estate
Development for Best Overall Marketing

marketed by Staley Farms for Best Overall
Marketing Campaign for Communities $350,000
to $500,000; and Tiffany Greens marketed
by Tiffany Greens Residential for Best
Overall Marketing Campaign for Communities
Over $500,000.
The HBA Sales & Marketing Council
presents the annual MAME Awards. Entries
were judged by members of the Sales & Marketing
Council of the Home Builders Association
of Greater St. Louis.

recognize the outstanding talents, creativity
and professionalism of the individuals
marketing new homes and new-home products
and services,” said Carey, chairman
of the MAME Committee for the HBA Sales & Marketing
Council. “The MAME Awards are the
most prestigious awards presented for
local new-home sales marketing.”
