Underwood Elected Director-At-Large
of National Executive Officers Council
Tim Underwood, executive
vice president of the Home Builders Association
of Greater Kansas City (HBA), was recently
reelected by his peers as a 2001 director-at-large
of the National Association of Home Builders'
(NAHB) Executive Officers Council. The
election was held in conjunction with
the Executive Officers Council Annual
Meeting in Savannah, Ga.
The Executive Officers Council
(EOC) is the educational and professional
support organization for the executive
officers that direct the state and local
associations comprising the NAHB. The
Council's board of directors establishes
policy and oversees activities of the
800-member organization.
As executive vice president
of the HBA, Underwood directs the day-to-day
operations of the more than 1,000-member
organization. Underwood will be installed
to position in February 2001 at the International
Builders' Show and NAHB Convention in
Atlanta.
The Home Builders Association (HBA) of
Greater Kansas City is the voice of the
housing industry and the source for housing
information. Comprising more than 1,000
member companies, the HBA represents an
industry that contributes more than 2.5
billion dollars to the Kansas City economy
and supports more than 36,000 jobs in
the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
