Missouri vs. Kansas Hammer Out Hunger Competition

Hammer Out Hunger mobile app buttonThis fall, the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City is hosting a “Hammer Out Hunger” challenge to see which state can donate the most to Harvesters: Missouri or Kansas. The HBA’s goal is to donate 35,000 meals to Harvesters during the Fall Parade of Homes.

You can help! Donate to the team of your choice online or by bringing a non-perishable food donation when you pick up your Parade of Homes guide at the Home Builders Association.

The Kansas team captain is Tommy Bickimer (left) of Bickimer Construction. Established in 1982, Bickimer Construction has been involved in the planning, development, and building of new communities and homes in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area for over 35 years. Tommy’s mother and father founded the company and Tommy is now president.

The team captain for Missouri is Patrick Willis (right) of Willis Custom Homes. Patrick is the former Parade Committee chairman and a member of the HBA’s Board of Directors. Patrick and his father, Bob, have been building award-winning homes in Kansas City for more than 52 years.
